glWHYz! is an OpenGL rewrite of the WHYz! demo (originally written in
100% assembly code in 1996).
The glWHYz! demo is my second OpenGL program, and it shows how to do (simple, but fun)
2D graphics with OpenGL. I'll let you have the source so you can see how it works.

Notes
- The glWHYz! demo was developed using Linux/SDL. You need SDL to get it running from source.
- Well waddaya know ... the Windows version seems to work. Resizing the window messes things up, though. Only tested on XP SP2.
- Press the 'W' key for the cool wireframe mode.
- I'm very impressed with the speed. This is all in 32-bits color and still much faster
than the low-res pixel pushing that I usually do. (The Windows version seems slightly slower)
- Mac OSX version exists ...
- iPhone version exists in my iPhone simulator ...
